Paper Overwrapping
with Marden Edwards & Atlantic Packaging
Curbside Recyclable
Swap plastic overwrap for paper that goes in the bin your customer already rolls to the curb.
Test & Verify
We validate your packaging configuration for the hazards of the supply chain at our ISTA-certified lab in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Partnership & Service
The engineers who run your trials stay with your line for training, troubleshooting, and material adjustments as your operations evolve.
Marketing & Branding
Vibrant graphics print directly on the paper and the machine’s tight, square-end folds finish it like hand-wrapping, so the carton sells the brand as well as it protects the product.
Overwrapping Machinery
Tuck-and-fold overwrapping machinery, from entry-level semi-automatic units to fully integrated high-speed systems.
- Run a range of pack sizes on one machine instead of a separate line per SKU
- Tight, square-end folds with hot-melt adhesive for a hand-wrapped look on premium cartons
- Longitudinal seal on the trailing edge or the base, depending on how the pack is designed and displayed
- Tamper evidence and carton-surface protection in a single pass, no added sleeve or label
- Wraps polypropylene, cellophane, and paper-based films, clear or printed
- Configured for retail presentation, multi-packing, or distribution
Atlantic’s fiber-based flexible packaging program: specially engineered paper substrates, functional coatings, in-house printing and converting, and the technical support to validate packaging configurations on your equipment and through distribution.
- Functional coatings for moisture and water vapor, grease and oil, oxygen, aroma, and UV
- Multicolor graphics and custom dimensions
- Manufacturing at Atlantic facilities across North America
- Proven on application equipment before you commit, not just in our lab
